However, if you use Chrome as your browser you can right-click and select “Open in incognito window” which will create a new incognito window in which you can paste in the serial key URL without the URL converting to a form that would require you to manually change the serial key.
This however means that you will have to repeat this each time the app updates. You may want to look into installing a plug-in for Chrome that allows you to add the URL to your list of bookmarked links. I use Filer and like it but I’m sure others are out there.
