Is it possible to use HADOOP as a ESB?

Are there any existing Hadoop distributions which you can run as an ESB?
We have an existing application, which consists of a large array of Java processes and Hadoop services. As such it is currently very difficult to maintain.
The enterprise (with no idea what my requirements are and has spent a lot of money developing an implementation) have asked me to look at using Hadoop as an ESB. They have been quoted a project price of about $350,000.
