The system goes live today, with Adobe adding a new application update to the Creative Cloud desktop or mobile app to let people know their subscription price has changed.

Starting today, subscribers will see a new “Subscription Price:” label on the right-side panel of the new application. It tells people the subscription’s most current price. Before, subscribers would have to open the Help menu to see the current subscription price.

The new price system uses one-strike locks, which means that after a customer uses up his or her one-month free trial period—which can be up to one month—the new subscription price will determine the future monthly cost. If the customer wants to continue on a traditional price plan, the monthly payment and payment interval will return to the old price. If customers want to pay a lower monthly price, they will keep the current free trial period. Those lower-cost plans will start after one month.

The new pricing model lets customers choose the number of months in the new subscription, typically either 12 or 24 for a paid yearly subscription. Then they will pay a discounted rate, depending on how many months they choose, for the rest of the subscriptions.

The purpose of today’s blog is to show you some images that I’ve looked at since my last blog post in order to help you see how I approach my editing work. In Photoshop I’ve used the place tool to bring the content that I want into my image from my layers panel. Although, there are a few different ways that you can edit most raw files, sadly we don’t have a ‘Save As’ feature, so I’m forced to manually cutlpaste each image into a new Photoshop document in order to edit it.
