If you want to do more complex editing, then you can use its own editing tools, like editing the layer of pattern or removing an object completely. If you change the size of an image, you’ll have to return to the Edit menu. This is a little disappointing because you might not have been able to make significant adjustments in the libraries.

Photoshop Elements is a good alternative to some of the more complex features found in the standard version of Photoshop, like the multi-tasking tools. However, it doesn’t support many of the edits found in Photoshop. Another disadvantage of Photoshop Elements is the limited selection of actions if you’re using a digital camera. Windows users are only supported by Elements 9 and up, and the Mac version is available for OS X Mavericks and later.
