I think that the App store is a great way for Adobe to make sure that they are committed to their technology because ultimately it is their job to make sure that everything makes sense on any given platform, not just a desktop or laptop.
The improvements in performance are excellent and certainly huge. The 3D previews feature inside the image window is a real boon when working on large files. The addition of the print module is a good thing, it’s a natural evolution just like the other Adobe app enhancements, but in this case it is more beneficial to those professionals that have pages of images ready to print.

Photoshop Elements is a far more stripped-down version of Photoshop with a simple, straightforward interface that makes it a much easier to use. That said, Photoshop Elements does require some learning before you can master it, but this is also what makes it a great all-around photo editing tool.
