The rumor mill has run amuck over the last few days, making it difficult to sort out what’s real from what’s not, but there are an awful lot of eye-opening rumors floating around. I took a time out and reviewed those rumors in order to get to the bottom of it.

So the rumors of an imminent Apple-style camera that will be the “tenth major redesign” of the camera are true, at least in part. And, to add to the rumors, the guys over at imagedevp have been stating that the camera will compete with interchangeable lenses in size. One of the worst things that can happen for a new camera system is that it will be perceived as a “gimmick”. We’ve seen good results from the DSLR industry (ahem, Canon EOS 5D) in recent years, so the likelihood of this is very real.

What’s not as evident, from all the rumors out there, is that Canon will be down to two or even one body type. The details on their next 1D-X and 5D Mark III offerings are in the Imaging Resource forum .

Speaking of rumors, I’m still hearing about image quality issues with the introduction of the new FUJIFILM X-T2. As I stated in my earlier review, it is not unexpected that things will change, and that new features will be added. And, if the rumors are true, Fujifilm is going to allow these features to be enabled only in post-processing. Considering that Fuji has not (to my knowledge) allowed full RAW processing control with their X-T1, I suspect that this will not be the case with the X-T2.

One of the first things you’ll need to do when designing graphics for your site or app is set up the web browser to use a fully-customisable template. There are a few you can choose from, but a nice selection of default templates are available within Dreamweaver if you’d like to use one of them.

The layer palette has three primary functions: place items, move items, and display items.
