The LAC-USC Text Research Center library at UC Santa Cruz has the English Wiki-Preference Essays, in electronic format in English.
The essays in the anthology reflect the specific student writing preferences of more than 50 colleges and universities in the United States. Preference essays were collected from both first- and second-year college students as they wrote descriptive essays that were to be used to compare and contrast language preferences.
The essays are searchable using the MeSH terms “Preference” and “Locale”. (The MeSH term “Preference” doesn’t quite yield the right results; see How can I do a search for specific MeSH terms for more information.)
