I produced a test image, edited it in a few seconds, saved it, and then dropped it into Apple’s Photos app, where I took a stock photo of an iPhone with improved contrast and saturation. Things such as that should reduce lag and smooth performance (both overall and in a specific context), even on devices such as iPads. If I have one qualm left about Photoshop, it would be the size of the app, which causes huge lags in operation, even if you are just working on one image at a time. However, I do hope this review, at the very least, serves as an eye-opener for some of the current realities of the Photo Editing Process. If you’re still not fully satisfied with Photoshop, there are newer apps out there, such as Topaz Labs. It’s also possible that you will be satisfied with the released version. Still, you had better be sure of yourself.
