No matter the size of a company or the products it develops, there are times where creating a website or even a new design for a website—a widget, for instance—can be an overwhelming process. This is particularly true for those companies that offer a wide array of products to their customers.
Part of the issue is in identifying a good designer. Some companies insist that the people they hire are free of defect or must go through some kind of training. Sometimes, a company will hire a portfolio site with only an affordable designer portfolio viewing site . Unfortunately, these sites often only allow for a quick view and rating of people’s work without the ability to create custom links that can be shared with clients.
According to Photographers.com, Photoshop was released in 1987. Back then, it was developed for DOS and was originally called Photoshop II. The new name and a new look made the photography-focused software more accessible. One of the changes was the use of a Mac-like UI: you can pinch to zoom, zoom in, out, flip, if you want a 3D effect, flip your subject 180’, change colors and more. Plus, it’s the only program that lets you work on a single image, as opposed to areas on a separate layer.

- Brush & Pen; New Pen options are lighter weight, and provide more intuitive strokes
- Specularity and Reflection; You can use the Specularity and Reflection tools to define objects in your canvas, and create reflections and shiny textures.

Elements also has a whole new “Treat Panel” that allows users to easily and accurately customize opacity, greater control over masking, and enhanced basic filtering and blending. The new facelift changes how the program looks and feels, and some of the enhancements include better output options, a new artboard previewer panel, an improved grid, and more.
Elements 2019 also moves its layer blending feature to the top panel. This means that when you set a layer blending options in the toolbox, you can actually see that setting. In addition, it’s easier to see and edit the settings for multiple layers in the same document.
In Elements 2020, the software also delivers new Viewer, Curves, Adjustment, and Presets panels.
