Must admit that I was working on a new project with a D5500 and full compliment of lenses and a set of 5D raw files. Not only was it great to work with the raw files, I found that in many cases I was able to produce usable images with only the better raw converter and straight from the card. Although there are some blurry edges that were not sharpened to force the converters to work, they are really rare and often created by the jpeg converter in the simplest of workflows.
However, even with the better software recently there is an increase of low quality jpeg files coming from the camera. I believe that the reason for this is that there are not enough people using the RAW converters. And once the raw converters get to beta/RC stage, will be out.
What is the most powerful tool in Photoshop?
Any of the tools mentioned previously have uses for Photoshop, but I personally find them a bit clunky. If you scale a region of the image, the tool can be used to auto-crop the image and remove unwanted areas of the image.

We are pleased and excited that we are able to enable the creation of these new form factors.
In order to bring these applications to the browser, we will be transitioning several of Adobe software applications to web-based experiences. The first of these to be released is Photoshop. As with other products, Adobe will work with our partners to customize web-based tutorials that help users get started with the new experience. We will also work to support the existing Photoshop applications on both macOS and Windows in the same way we have supported Photoshop in the past.
