Removing Adobe Photoshop is not as simple as installing it. First, you need to locate the installation.exe file and locate the folder that it was installed in. There are two ways to locate the folder for Adobe Photoshop. You can either go to “Programs > Programs > Adobe Photoshop” in the Windows Control Panel and see if there is a folder there or you can open up the Control Panel and navigate to “Programs > Programs > Adobe Photoshop.” If you find the folder, right-click on it and select “Uninstall” to remove the program.

My first Lightroom was 4.1, which I fell in love with and absolutely recommend. The new version certainly seems to be slightly bloated with features, but I don’t like that so much. I think it takes away the fundamental usability of my workflow – I don’t want to use it to the exclusion of my standard workflow, but I expect to be able to use it the same way as previous versions
As an example, I want to use Assign slide, but that requires me to switch all my catalog settings to the new “Slide Library” modes, which I feel becomes too cumbersome as I work in the Slideshow Features. I’m sure I’m not the only one who had to start over to get into the new features. I’ll review it again after CC is out.
As for CS2 vs CC, There’s no doubt about CS2 being the better camera for the imaging craft. I personally think there’s no reason to aim to match or surpass CS2 performance with the newest platform. I know for myself, I stopped working with a copy of CS1 to work with a copy of CS3, and I’m doing the same with CS5 now. Limitations imposed by advanced digital systems and innovation need to be respected. Although I personally love the performance of CS2, I’m sure there are certain tasks that can become fairly cumbersome. Also, the original features of CS2 may have turned out to be the reason why it’s not that popular anymore, even among hardware photogs that used it for its hardware capabilities. When looking at CS5, it shouldn’t be a winner or loser, as it should be an enhancement for all users that can offer them the best features available at the moment. That said, CS4 is still my favorite version, especially the overall design impression. I have used version 5 for some time now, but I’m not seeing anything in it that will make any kind of a difference in how I use it. And, I’ll be sticking with CS4 until I can’t get it any longer until either Adobe comes up with something that makes my life better, or until I find myself making due with CS5. As of now, I don’t see anything in the latest version that suggests I ought to bother with upgrading. I just don’t see any potential benefits in the current version that have the potential to be of any great benefit to my work flow as is. If you have something you use in CS2 and that’s something I can’t do with CS5, then your mileage may vary. (Regardless of what features are available, CS4 performance has always been in front of the competition – and the competition for “best” CS is OS X and iOS now, not Adobe in the general computing market. What we’re talking about here is professional photo and video work, which has always been primarily done with Windows.
What I like about CS2 is what makes it compelling: Chris’s does an excellent job of making it feel like it ought to be a smaller system to do the work of a biggish machine. The interface I’m happy with is intuitive and chock full of advanced options with no qualms, especially the print engine and image/tiff manipulation tools. I think that effectively, in terms of features and ease of use, it’s just about the best you can get today.
So, I can’t see myself “upgrading” to CS5 any more.
