Layers still work in a matrix setup, which should make editing an image with multiple layers easy. The Workspace is similar to the Workspace in previous versions, but now has a shareable icon instead of being a hidden menu. The View and Navigation options are now under the tiny paintbrush icon (next to the File menu), and the new Camera button brings up a simple view of your image. One new option is what Adobe calls “Arrange”: the ability to move, resize, add and delete groups of shapes. Primary and secondary selections are easier to do: primary can use color, while secondary uses anything you’ve selected.

Now that you have a new layer in Photoshop, double click the layer (or select the layer directly) to open the Layer menu. Use the menu to change the order that this layer appears in a particular image.
