Operation:
Copy all appointments and contacts in Outlook to a single file on the keymacro
disk. This file can be copied to the Iphone or Ipod. The file will be exported
to the library of the Iphone or Ipod.
The keymacro software itself is a small self written program that runs on the
windows machine. The program runs as a “plugin” on the Outlook application. It
lets you export the appointments to the file. You simply right click on the
appointment and choose the export option. A new window opens where you will
find the option to save the appointment to a file. The windows has a “name” box
where you can enter the name of the file to export. This can be anything you
like. There are many options to select which contacts to export.
The MAC version is an Application created in XCode and runs on the Mac machine.
This version lets you copy the “vCalendar.ics” file to your Iphone and it works
very nice. If you want to copy all your contacts to the Mac this can be done
by opening the contacts folder in Finder and selecting “Export” in the menu.
You will see a window with an “Import” button. Just press this button and you
will be redirected to the Ipod. It has the same options as the windows version.
