I’m a long-time Photoshop user and Content Aware Fill is awesome. What a great feature. I’ve been using this for a while to speed up my photo editing process, and it has been a life-saver. Most of my studio work is done in Photoshop, and I really like this feature. I mostly use it to take out the background from photos. I’d love to get an update notification and more frequent service so I know that this feature will be supported for the foreseeable future.
I have been using this software since version 7 and I like the power and simplicity. 5.3 is just solid. I love the blend modes and I can easily use this to remove unwanted foreground objects, or bright spots.
I’m a long time user of Photoshop. I’ve been using it since PS 5. (Before PS9 I used to use Photoshop CS software. Copies of those earlier versions can be purchased in stores worldwide.) I only use Photoshop for photographs and graphics. Tried it out at Adobe MAX 2017 and decided to use PS CC for my stuff and I’m sticking with it.
So, are there any downsides to my opinion? Elements is continuing to evolve, making an effort to be less BlackBelt in nature. Blend Layers are now available in Photoshop. Spot Healing Brush is now the default healing tool in Elements. The innovative Content Aware Fill has been added to Elements. Yet, the most anticipated feature, Adobe’s integration with Lightroom, isn’t yet available. Photoshop CC is limited to a 365-day trial.
Future versions of Photoshop will also be available as part of the Creative Cloud, a subscription-based package including the flagship Photoshop, Photoshop CC, Lightroom, and other connected products. The company also recently added Tiny Colors and Video Downloader to its suite of online tools.
