Spectrider is the first 3D high resolution real-time spectrometer for educational and scientific purposes where analysis of analog signals is required.
These are the hotkeys that can be used to easily operate the functions of Spectrider (in help screen hot keys are highlighted by underscores):
· ‘F’: Change number of points in Fast Furrier Transformation (FFT)
· ‘D’: Change dynamic range for spectrum visualization
· ‘A’ or +/- keys of numeric pad: Change factor for waveform amplification
· ‘W’: Change weighting function for waveform
· ‘M’: Switch color or mono mode for spectrum visualization
· ‘V’: Switch between 3-dimentional or 2-dimentional (colored) modes for spectrum visualization
· ‘R’: Change sampling rate
· ‘N’: Change minimum frequency of spectrum analysis
· ‘X’: Change maximum frequency of spectrum analysis
· : Adjust layout of spectrum, waveform and spectrum cut
· F1: Switch On/Off screen with contact info
· F2: Switch On/Off help screen together with current parameters
· F3: Switch On/Off map of spectrum colors
· F4: Switch On/Off grid together with labels
· ESCAPE or CONTROL+BREAK: close application
You can additionally press CONTROL key together with a hot key to decrement correspondent parameter, by default increment of parameter by pre-fixed step will be done.

Spectrider With Key

Spectrider is a fast, simple, most advanced and cheap 3D real-time visualization and analysis of signals for education and scientific purposes. It can be easily operated by hot keys in help screen with mouse clicking on the screen, it also has additional features that can be reached by hot keys described above.
The application creates huge files with very fast speed, in case of practical application on a compact PC you’ll not use more than 10 MB of space, but in case of practical on a big PC will use several GB of space. As the work of each analyzed signal is transformed to memory instantly, you can view long time series with low speed of PC.
Free mode (like Morse code chaper for learning signals) has very low speed, but during the analysis of the large signal data low speed is not a problem.
The application works for different kind of signals including: audio, DTMF, radar, ECG, piezoelectric, enzymatic, thermocouple, fuel injection, etc.
Furrier transformation analysis is a powerful technique for extraction of information from any type of analog signal. FFT has the ability to distinguish the faintest of signals from noise and visualizes signals in the low-frequency domain. It does not require much data and is robust against noise and frequency interference.
FFT for signals with low frequency is the method of choice for real-time visualization and analysis of analog signals. The transform can use low-cost hardware and can be also made fast by modifying software implementation of the transform.
FFT displays the signal in the frequency domain and has the ability to analyze the presence and quality of frequency components and shapes of these components. The quality of the frequency is obtained from the analysis of the amplitudes of the low frequency components of the spectrum. To be easily recognized these low frequency components are represented by different colors in the spectrum and separated from other frequencies by a colored grid.

Spectrider is a multi-platform 3D high resolution real-time spectrum analyzer application.
Open source and cross-platform, Spectrider can be used for acquiring and analyzing optical, RF or ultrasound/EEG data.
It implements optical analogue signals in forms of fast alternating current, low frequency and transient signals generated by sources based on SMA, LHP, LSA, LME24G and LME24H connector.
There are also no-tube sources such as SMA, LSA, LHP and LME24G.

Data acquisition

The system supports a wide range of optical, RF or AC signals in the following forms:

– analog signals from SMA1, SMA2, SMA3, TOSA, LHP, LSA and LME24G and LME24H.
