It seems to be a direct clone of Cubase AI, the only reason why I’ve bought it is because I was sure that it would work in a different environment than Cubase.
It could play a little faster than Cubase AI, but it’s quite similar in many aspects.
It’s a good piece of software to start your knowledge on MIDI and music theory. You can learn the basics of music theory with it. There is a small manual and a CD included. The piece is intended to make music theory more interesting for a computer beginner.
I’ve been using it for a while. So far it’s a nice piece of software.
It’s a very flexible VST and a very capable music sequencer.
While it’s more complex than other sequencers I have used, it’s perfect for this kind of software: based on the idea of having many instruments (as many as you have MIDI files), it organizes the sounds for you in an intuitive way.
It’s a complete MIDI sequencer. It’s good for making music, and you can even mix and mix MIDI loops with other MIDI loops.
You can produce an unlimited amount of music from one MIDI file or from a list of MIDI files.
You can produce a list of variations, and you can use it to play those variations.
You can control the playing velocity using mouse or keyboard.
It’s very simple to use.
I think this is the best MIDI sequencer out there.
