However, one disappointment of the Lightroom mobile app is that it cannot tap into the same level of information as the desktop app. It doesn’t have access to the key Lightroom catalog information or frequently used locations, which is disappointing.

So, if I’m going to buy a third-party RAW converter, why not the one that offers access to the tools that are already built into Photoshop? Thankfully, there’s a new Photoshop-style RAW converter from Microsoft called Microsoft Power Photoshop. I first used Power Photoshop about a year ago and found it excellent. While it wasn’t quite as user-friendly as a traditional RAW converter, it provided enough power to edit images in a similar way to Photoshop. So, when Adobe also announced a new Adobe Power Photoshop application, my excitement was obviously a high.
