Some may question the latter and consider it a weakness, but in fact it makes the product look even better and more usable. In my experience, that’s more input that makes a product even more useful to more people. And that’s something the company is clearly striving for.

Photoshop requires a fairly high-powered processor, so make sure that it’s actually turned on. If you’re having trouble starting Photoshop, try closing all other programs and opening all other programs first. This is a good time to do maintenance on your computer, such as cleaning out junk files, making sure your computer’s ram is working, and generally cleaning out the mess that can build up inside your computer that slows your computer down. It also makes it much easier to open Photoshop when you don’t have to load any other programs first, because it’s way easier to open Photoshop than it is to open Photoshop and load an image first!

It’s a series of pictures stitched into a super-high-res image and presented on the cover of National Geographic.

Elements is light years ahead of the other consumer applications in terms of what’s possible with the editing software. If you contract an editor who can do top-notch work, it’s unlikely that you’ll get any more out of her work than you would if you were editing it in Elements.
