I am using Adobe Lightroom 4.3.0 and I am pleased with it however when I create a preset file and any photo in my library is redefined the edit has to be removed then added again (or I have to delete the edit). When I am happy with an alignment I duplicate the photo and place it in the new photo editing screen of Lightroom using my D800. I then do the alignment I want and then join the photos. Very easy to use!

Version history shows the status of your document in a panel at the bottom of the app. The panel has only a small number of actions — Import, Export, Copy, and Merge — so it’s easy to jump directly to a desired state. If you’ve saved the document as a Cloud Document, you’ll also find that name in the Version History panel.

Adobe announced the addition of new browser-based editing features that work across your desktop and smartphone, such as Adobe Photoshop Touch (beta) in Photoshop and Lightroom Mobile, and Photoshop on the web in Photoshop. With features such as a one-click Delete tool and Content-Aware Fill, users can replace objects in an image with a single click. Adobe Touch enables users to edit their images across multiple devices by enabling users to make local edits and then preview the changes on their touchscreen device or via the web without leaving Photoshop.

While still training his chops as a film studio assistant, Oscar-winning Chilean photographer Rodrigo Rey-Pastor was exploring ways to digitally re-create content. While he had no formal art training, he realized that, by manipulating a series of still images in Photoshop, he could create multi-layered designs that combined both photography and illustration. Rey-Pastor “Theory of Light and Shadow” is a series that is a magnum opus in itself. What a treat to the artist to have his work used in a film, directed by Cameron Crowe. It follows an award-winning British cinematographer named Bob Elswit, who moved to Los Angeles to pursue a documentary project on Rey-Pastor. Starting small with the concept of a cinematic photograph, the two and their production team soon began experimenting with more techniques such as gamut, exposure blending, and the use of image mattes to create a highly realistic looking results. Cameron Crowe used Rey-Pastor’s photography as a basis for shooting the appearances of models through 3D-LUTs, which are the appearance of photographic material made by a pre-established digital imaging system. Photoshop’s current holder of the “most challenging” title, thanks to its ethereal images, is astronaut Scott Kelly, a veteran of the International Space Station, Scott Kelly. In January 2016, Scott will fly back to Earth, after a year of being in space, to return to light-years on an ordinary life on Earth.
